Young fan ecstatic after receiving Mourinho’s medal
Despite his team’s defeat, Jose Mourinho managed to bring joy to a young football fan by graciously giving him his Europa League runners-up medal.
AS Roma suffered a heartbreaking loss on penalties to Sevilla in the final, and Mourinho chose to single out a young Israeli supporter of Roma and personally present him with the medal.

Photos revealed Mourinho’s deliberate act of kindness, which left the young boy thrilled. However, Mourinho also made headlines for his outburst at referee Anthony Taylor in the car park, calling him a “disgrace” and alleging biased officiating that he believed cost his team the match and tarnished his impressive record in European finals.
Prior to this loss, Mourinho had never been defeated in a European final, boasting a perfect 100% record in five attempts.
However, Sevilla, known for their success in the Europa League, emerged victorious and extended their unbeaten streak in final appearances to eight, including the most recent one.
