Wizkid apologizes for failing to show up in Accra
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage as Wizkid, has expressed regret for skipping his live performance in Ghana on December 10.
The famous musician declared on his Twitter account that he would never make such a choice hastily.
The “Bad to me” singer defended his informed decision to skip the event.
“Ghana is a nation close to my heart, and I want to start by apologizing to all of my supporters!
You all know that I would never take a severe action without a good reason.
“My brand is something I don’t joke with! I sincerely apologise to everyone who made the effort to come out to me last night. I was charged up, looking forward to doing this show.
However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honoring my fans and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right to do and I had to,” he tweeted.
Wizkid declared that his crew is putting in a lot of effort to put on a performance for his devoted Ghanaian fans.
He promised to share the specifics shortly.
