Winneba: Suspected thief killed and dumped by roadside
According to reports, a suspected burglar in his 30s was slain and dumped by the side of the road near Winneba in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region.
The victim was discovered dead with a knife and screwdriver next to him on March 16, 2023 early in the morning outside the ICGC Church on the Winneba Water Works Route.
It’s possible he was killed while being caught stealing.

Locals who were there at the incident believe the deceased is the armed robber who has been robbing people in the neighborhood.
After receiving notification, Winneba police transported the deceased to the mortuary of the Winneba Specialty and Trauma Hospital.
The death is the subject of an inquiry by the police.
