Thomas Partey joins Black Stars camp
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has arrived at the Black Stars camp in preparation for their upcoming match against Madagascar.
Partey’s arrival marks the 25th player to join the camp, which commenced at the Alisa Hotel on Monday.
On the first day of training, 22 out of the 25 called-up players participated in a session held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, Partey, along with Gideon Mensah and Hafiz Konkoni, were unable to attend.

The following day, Partey, who had traveled from the United Kingdom, reached Accra in the early hours of Tuesday.
He promptly joined the rest of the Black Stars squad at the Alisa Hotel. Later in the day, the team was scheduled to train at 4:30 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium, with Partey included in the session.
Celebrating his 30th birthday today, Thomas Partey was a key player for Arsenal as they came close to clinching their first Premier League title in 19 years.
However, despite their efforts, they fell short of the ultimate prize. In the previous game against Angola, Partey was unable to play due to a precautionary measure following a minor injury.
Looking ahead, Ghana’s national team is aware that a victory against Madagascar on Sunday will secure their place in the Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Ivory Coast next year.
The team is focused on their preparations and aims to deliver a strong performance to secure their qualification for the prestigious tournament.
