The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has increased mobile money transaction and wallet limits.
In a statement released on December 22, 2022, the Bank emphasized that the review is a component of efforts to facilitate more efficient payments, support a smooth transition to a society where cash is less prevalent, and encourage the use of non-cash payment forms.
“The aggregate monthly transaction restrictions will, however, remain intact,” the announcement states.
