Police announce road blocks in Accra and Cape Coast

Please be aware of the traffic patterns in Accra and Cape Coast from March 26 to March 29.

There will be sporadic roadblocks between noon and 4:00 pm along the Liberation Road, which runs from the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) traffic intersection via Opeibia and up to the National Theatre.

There will be sporadic roadblocks from the National Theatre to the Jubilee House via the AU Roundabout and from the Jubilee House to the Emmanuel Eye Clinic location at Shiashie between the hours of 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.

From the Ako Adjei Interchange to the Labone Secondary School area, down the John Evans Atta Mills High Street, and on to the Bukom Boxing Arena, there will also be sporadic roadblocks.

There will be sporadic roadblocks in Accra from the National Theatre, past the Ministries Traffic Intersection, and up to the Castle Traffic Light at the Black Star Square between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.

There will be sporadic roadblocks in Cape Coast between noon and 6:00 p.m. from the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium to Omanhene’s Palace via Bakano Road and Aminstimadzi Road, and from Omanhene’s Palace via Beach Road to the Cape Coast Castle.

Between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, there will be intermittent roadblocks from the National Theatre through the Jubilee House along the Liberation Road, up to the Pawpaw Street area in East Legon.
