
Office of President submits report of staffing to Parliament with 361 political appointees
The Annual Report on the Staffing Position of the Office for the Period 1 January to 31st December 2022 has been submitted to Parliament by the Office of the President.
The report includes three topics: the number of presidential staff members employed at the president’s office throughout the time, their positions and grades, and personnel from other governmental agencies allocated to the president’s office.

There were two ministers of state and 44 senior presidential staff members on duty, according to a statement from the office.
There were 315 additional political appointees, bringing the total to 361.
