According to a statement from Godwin Ako Gunn, the party’s deputy national communications director, the committee won’t begin meeting until at least Thursday of the following week.

He clarified that the reason for this is the upcoming Easter weekend, which begins on Friday, April 7.

On Saturday, May 13, the primaries are set to take place.
