NACOC intercepts marijuana concealed in cocoa powder containers

On Friday, February 3, 2023, the Ghana Post Unit of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) stopped six (6) packages of marijuana-filled plastic cocoa powder containers on their way out.

In a statement, the NACOC Public Affairs and International Relations Department stated that an investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible for the attempted export.

According to a statement from NACOC, “The commission is using this medium to caution individuals participating in the act to abstain from similar acts as they will be prosecuted if found liable.”
