
MTN apologises for Wednesday night’s hitches
On Wednesday, September 13, MTN, the mobile telecommunication network, issued an apology to its customers for the intermittent difficulties they experienced during the evening.
Accessing voice and Mobile Money (MoMo) services posed problems for most customers. MTN, the market leader, acknowledged that this issue was due to a technical challenge in a public service announcement made on Wednesday night.

The company assured its customers that its engineers were diligently working towards resolving the problem, and they would provide updates once it was fixed. Ghana’s sole significant market power (SMP) also expressed their regrets for the inconveniences caused.
In accordance with regulations, it is anticipated that MTN will compensate affected customers for the challenges they encountered.
