Mr Eazi Announces New Group, Choplife Soundsystem

Choplife Soundsystem is named after the West African pidgin phrase “chop life,” which means “enjoy life,” and the Jamaican soundsystem culture.

Mr Eazi, a visionary Nigerian artist, is incorporating modern African music genres such as amapiano and afrobeats to put an African twist on soundsystem culture.

He does this both in the studio and at live events. As an artist, Mr Eazi is behind popular afropop hits like “Pour Me Water,” “Skin Tight,” and “Leg Over,” and he has collaborated with Beyoncé and J Balvin.
