MP involved in accident while on his way to Parliament to vote on 3 revenue bills

Alhaji Mohammed Hardi Tufeirua, the member of parliament for Nanton and Deputy, was in an accident on his way to Parliament to take part in discussions about the three revenue Bills.

This occurred on March 31st, a Friday.

After that, an ambulance took him to Parliament so he could participate in the proceedings, according to Komla Kluste, a parliament reporter for TV3.

All three revenue bills have now been approved by parliament.

The legislation are the Growth and Sustainability Amendment Bill, the Excise Duty Amendment Bill, and the Income Tax Amendment Bill.

To boost domestic earnings, the government is aiming to generate about GH4 billion annually.
