Mohammed Kudus made a big transfer decision
Mohammed Kudus, an Ajax attacker, has chosen which team he will sign with during the January transfer window, with Borussia Dortmund winning the competition, according to German media.
This season, Kudus has drawn interest from a broad range of teams, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Liverpool.
In the meanwhile, he might have transferred to Everton in the summer because they were still interested in him in the run-up to the January transfer window. Another Premier League team with interest in the 22-year-old, who has switched from a midfielder to a center-forward this season, was Southampton.
The German team has been unsuccessful in its efforts to replace Erling Haaland since he left for Manchester City in the summer, and it appears that his World Cup performances have convinced Dortmund to pay €20 million for his services.

Sporting director Sebastian Kehl is reportedly in negotiations with Kudus’ agency to reach a deal. The team, which is currently sixth in the Bundesliga, does not consider the €20 million asking price to be an issue. Before a deal is completed, it seems like only a matter of time.
Barca, Madrid or Liverpool in the future?
But even a transfer to Dortmund isn’t going to stop Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Liverpool from keeping tabs on the player. Instead, these teams will view it as a transitional stage in Kudus’ career, similar to the one Haaland took when he transferred from Red Bull Salzburg to BVB.
If he continues his impressive form, anticipate seeing these clubs mentioned in connection with him again in the future.
Kudus has been a successful recipient of Ajax’s impressive transfer policy. Even though they sold him to Everton for only €10 million in the summer, when he was getting little playing time, they resisted the pressure to reach a deal.
They may have lost so many key players from their starting lineup over the summer, including Ryan Gravenberch, Hicham Mazraoui, Antony Martinez, and Lisandro Martinez, who all went to Manchester United. Another to depart was Nicolas Tagliafico, who this time went to Lyon.
Kudus’ transfer value has increased significantly over the past six months, but if he completes his transfer to Dortmund in the January transfer window, Ajax will be forced to enter the market to find a replacement.
