Following a two-year prohibition following the deadly Capitol Hill riot on January 6, 2021, President Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts will reopen in the ensuing weeks. The opening of his accounts could help Trump, who declared in November that he will run for president again in 2024.
He has 23 million Instagram followers and 34 million on Facebook, which are both important venues for political financing and outreach.
