Appiah, though, feels prepared for a third spell now that Otto Addo has left and has formally applied for the open position.
According to Appiah, it is true that I applied for the position, she claimed on Kumasi’s Sompa FM.
“When I learned that none of the many applicants, including the FA, were Ghanaians, I felt that, as a Ghanaian, I had to demonstrate my abilities in some way.
I was forced to join the foreigners’ application as a result.
Charles Akonnor replaced Appiah after his departure, Milovan Rajevac took over for a second time, and Otto Addo eventually led the squad to Qatar for the World Cup.
Otto Addo resigned after Ghana were eliminated from the group stage, leaving the top position vacant.
Former Premier League coach Chris Hughton was reported to have applied for the position earlier this week.
Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif believes the new coach will be named soon.
