The appointment of Black Stars coach Chris Hughton will take place in Kumasi on March 20, 2023, according to the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The 64-year-old will be introduced as part of the team’s preparation for its 2023 AFCON qualification matchup against Angola, according to a statement from the GFA.

The appointment of Black Stars coach Chris Hughton will take place in Kumasi on March 20, 2023, according to the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The 64-year-old will be introduced as part of the team’s preparation for its 2023 AFCON qualification matchup against Angola, according to a statement from the GFA.
On March 23, the Black Stars will host Angola in Kumasi before taking on the Black Antelopes three days later in Luanda in an effort to secure a spot in the tournament for the following year.
Hughton will be introduced to the public, according to the GFA, and will be permitted to speak with the media about his goals and expectations.
As part of the preparation for the match against Angola, Black Stars Coach Chris Hughton will be introduced in Kumasi on Monday, March 20, 2023, according to the release.

In order to convey his vision, philosophy, and expectations with the general people in Kumasi, the former manager of Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur will be introduced to the media.
“The Football Association will use the first media interaction between the manager and the media in Kumasi as a platform to also make public the targets, conditions of engagement, and other pertinent information pertaining to the manager’s work.”
Hughton has selected a 25-man team for the two AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
Mohamed Kudus, Thomas Partey, the Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, and more familiar names are on the team.
