Ku me preko demonstration comes on Saturday

The “Ku me preko” demonstration’s organizers have stated that they are prepared to march through Accra on November 5, 2022.

The protest is intended to demand better treatment from the Akufo-Addo administration as well as a request for the President to step down due to what is being called bad governance.

Ghana’s economy is suffering, and as a result, the nation is looking for financial assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Before the protest, one of the organizers, Mr. Martin Kpebu, claimed that the President and his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, must resign from their positions in order to put the nation back on track.

The speech was essentially President Akufo-Addo speaking in 2016. According to the speech, changing the economy’s structure so that we are no longer dependent on imports is what will get us out of trouble.

President Akufo-2016 Addo’s campaign slogan was “We shall do local production.” He must leave because he has outstayed his welcome, he yelled.

Adib Saani, a security analyst and member of the organizing team for the rally, pleaded with participants to uphold the law.
