Kompany to assess teenager Enock Agyei in preseason

Enock Agyei, a Belgian adolescent with Ghanaian ancestry, will be evaluated by Burnley’s manager Vincent Kompany during preseason. Burnley won the English Championship.

Agyei, 18, was acquired by Kompany on January 31, 2023 from Anderlecht on a four-year contract, however he was immediately loaned to KV Mechelen where he has played five times for the senior teams.

He is anticipated to return to Burnley in June after his loan agreement expires this summer. Kompany will evaluate Agyei during preseason to see if he can be a member of his squad or if he should go out on loan once more given that the team has qualified for the Premier League.

Agyei scored four goals in 17 appearances for the second team of Anderlecht before Kompany signed him for Burnley in January for a fee of 350,000 Pounds.
