Inaki Williams sprinted over 28km/hr against Real Sociedad

During Athletic Bilbao’s 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad, Inaki Williams, a striker for the Black Stars, was recorded sprinting at a speed of over 28 kilometers per hour at San Mamés stadium.

The 28-year-old player scored two goals during the match, bringing his total for the season to eight goals and making him both the top scorer for his team and one of the Top 15 scorers in the competition.

Williams is also one of the five La Liga Santander players who are involved in the most actions at speeds exceeding 21, 24, and 28 kilometers per hour per game.

Although the Bilbao fans had to wait until the 25th minute for a shot from Nico Williams, which was saved by Real Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro, Inaki Williams opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with a corner kick. In the second half, Williams scored again in the 69th minute after great work from Raul Garcia.

Williams was eventually substituted in the 89th minute after making 27 appearances for the Red and Whites in La Liga this season.
