The calls for Ken Ofori-Atta, the finance minister, to be fired have been resurrected by Kwesi Pratt Jr.

According to reports, more than 90 members of the majority caucus in parliament have signed a petition urging President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to fire Charles Adu Boahen, who serves as both the finance minister and the minister of state for finance.

If the President does not remove the two appointees, the Members of Parliament have vowed to boycott the presentation of the 2023 Budget and all government business that will be brought before the Legislative House.

In a guest appearance on Peace FM’s morning program “Kokrokoo,” Kwesi Pratt urged the Finance Minister to take appropriate action.

“I really wish that Ken Ofori-Atta had resigned. I wish he would go now instead of waiting for the President to instruct him to “He stressed.
