GES To Open Graduate Recruitment Portal Next Week?
A letter has been circulating on social media claiming to announce the opening and closing dates of the Ghana Education Service (GES) recruitment portal for university graduates.
However, this letter has been confirmed to be fake and is not from the GES. It is advised that the general public disregards this notice. The GES will soon make an official announcement regarding the dates for graduate recruitment.

University graduates in Ghana are eagerly awaiting the opening of the 2023 recruitment portal by the Ghana Education Service (GES). Recently, the GES opened the portal for graduates with diploma certificates, leading many education graduates to anticipate the opening of the portal for degree holders. However, there has been a delay in this process.
New information suggests that the GES will soon launch the portal for the recruitment of graduates with degree certificates. The delay is attributed to the GES conducting a streamlining exercise. Some senior high schools in Ghana have an excess of staff, while others are facing a shortage of teachers. The GES aims to ensure a balanced distribution of teachers across schools, addressing any overstaffing issues. This exercise will help determine the specific number of teachers required by each school in Ghana, enabling the recruitment process to commence.
Although the GES already possesses the necessary records, they still need to conduct this exercise in some schools before proceeding with recruitment. Additionally, the Minister of Finance must grant financial approval to the GES before the recruitment can take place. At this point, Ghreact.com cannot provide an exact date for when the portal will open. The only information available is that it will be opened “soon.”
