Former Old Tafo MP Dr Anthony Akoto Osei is dead
According to reports, the former MP for the Ashanti Region’s Old Tafo Constituency has passed away.
Many sources told JoyNews that he passed away on March 20.
At the age of 64, he passed away.

According to reports, the former state minister for finance during President Kufuor’s administration has been ill for some time.
Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei is a politician and banker from Ghana.
Dr. Osei served as Minister of State for Finance and Economic Planning in President John Agyekum Kufuor’s government.
He represented the Ashanti region’s Old Tafo electoral district in the House of Representatives.
Dr Osei serves as Member of Parliament for five terms.
He obtained a PhD from Howard University in 1987.
