Ex-Twitter owner launches new social media platform
Jack Dorsey, the founder and former CEO of Twitter, has developed a brand-new social network named “Bluesky.”
Exactly one week ago, Elon Musk, the richest man in the US, paid an astounding $44 billion to acquire Twitter.
However, Dorsey has finalized plans to start a new site, with over 30,000 people joining up for Bluesky within two days of the announcement, while Musk is busy resetting the microblogging website and maybe laying off half of the staff.

Insider reports that when Dorsey announced Bluesky’s launch, he said that the new app will provide “a new basis for social networking that provides creators independence from platforms, developers freedom to innovate, and users a choice in their experience.”
In 2019, Dorsey claimed that efforts on creating “an open and decentralized standard for social media” was being funded by Twitter.
