This development follows the University of Ghana’s earlier announcement that students with a CGPA below 1.00 would be at risk of expulsion. The university’s management clarified that undergraduate students failing to meet the minimum cumulative grade point average required for advancing to the next level of study would be withdrawn from the institution. Level 200 and level 300 students are encouraged to check their CGPA on the student portal and should expect a dismissal notification via email if their CGPA is below 1.00.
