Chinese woman shot in a daylight robbery in Accra
A Chinese business woman Li Yu Zhen was shot during a daylight robbery in the Accra suburb of Caprice. The incident happened on Friday at 12:30.
According to reports, the victim was being driven down the stretch in a Prado with the license plate GN 8188-22 when she was attacked by some unidentified gunmen.
According to witnesses, four armed guys arrived at the site on two motorcycles.
The pillion riders shot randomly into the car as they approached, according to the witnesses, who spoke to Adom News. They believe the robbers were following the victim.

The woman struggled with them over her bag and one of them shot her in the hand, according to a witness. “They got down to unlock the car from inside and demanded that the woman hands over her bag,” the witness recalled.
The woman who had been shot was assisted in getting to the closest hospital in a viral video seen by AtinkaNews. Her left arm was swollen and the sufferer was bleeding.
They flagged down a passing commercial vehicle, assisted the woman inside, and gave the conductor instructions to take her to the closest hospital.
The 44 Prado that the woman was driving is visible on the street with some of its windows broken.
The woman was also seen in the video being treated by a doctor in a hospital while being told to remain calm.
