Check Date: BECE results will be out this week
The public was informed by the Ministry of Education that today, January 19, 2023, would see the release of the candidates’ 2022 BECE results. Its PRO went on the street to notify the people, but then said in an interview with JoyNews that the results would be announced on January 21 rather than the previously announced date.
Candidates and parents should be aware that although the results have already been uploaded to the web, WAEC has set a deadline at which the system will automatically allow candidates to access the results of the 2022 BECE (Count down to the result release time)
The results are not available to BECE candidates on the WAEC result-checking portal as of the publication date because they have not yet been made public.

There are simple ways to determine when the results are available. One of these is when 2022 is added to the portal’s year section. Students who try to examine the results before they are published run the danger of squandering the result checker.
It is suggested that students wait patiently for the results to be announced. The results for the 2022 BECE will undoubtedly be made public between January 19 and, at the latest, January 23.
Candidates should exercise caution while reviewing their test results, particularly those who took the exam from a private school.
When seeking to verify their results, such pupils should be aware that they should select SCHOOL rather than private. The students who took the exam to retake part of the papers and those who did not register for the 2022 BECE with a school are to use the Private candidate option (Public school or Private School)
The Result Checker cards have been made available by WAEC in advance of the 2022 BECE results. Another clear sign that the results will be made public in a few hours or days is the issuance of the result checker cards.

After buying the result checker card, DO NOT CHECK THE RESULT until the result is officially released by WAEC.
