Asamoah Gyan reacts to the Black Stars World Cup call-up

It is obvious that Asamoah Gyan (Baby Jet) wouldn’t make it to Qatar in time to play for the senior national team in the world cup matches.

Otto Addo, the head coach of Ghana, has started selecting his final roster for the World Cup, which will begin in Qatar later this month.

Addo is anticipated to drop the remaining 29 players from the preliminary list that was revealed last Friday, releasing a 26-man team for the Mundial.

FIFA must receive final squads by November 14, 2022, but the Black Stars coach has already calling players to let them know they have been left off.

Joseph Paintsil, who is in good form, and Yaw Yeboah, a player based in the US, are reportedly other players that were dropped for traveling to Qatar for the World Cup.

Gym videos that went viral on social media a few months ago hinted that the former Blackstars captain would have made his final appearance for the senior national teams.

He has resorted to Twitter to vent his frustration that his fantasy hasn’t come true.

Gyan contends that when we select the incorrect candidates for the position, we are our own worst adversaries.

The fact that he was anticipating a call-up may have caused him to tweet from a wounded place.
