Apple Music celebrates Ghanaian Independence Day with Trotro Vibes campaign

FAVE, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter born in Nigeria, is the newest featured artist in Apple Music’s Africa Rising artist development program (real name Chidozie Godsfavour).

“Apple Music’s Africa being on Rising brings my dream of entering the global stage one step closer to reality.

The Apple Music Africa Rising Playlist is currently updated with the newest music from FAVE as well as the continent’s best emerging musicians.

Africa Rising, an exclusive artist development program and accompanying playlist on Apple Music, aims to find, promote, and elevate up-and-coming talent as well as introduce the next wave of African superstars.

Each year, Apple Music chooses six artists for its Africa Rising initiative, and they each get at least two months of editorial support on the Apple Music platform, including a launch interview with Nadeska on Apple Music 1.

The newest Apple Music program, Africa Rising, aims to introduce African talent to the rest of the globe.

Now available in 33 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Apple Music 1 is home to Africa Now Radio with host LootLove which has featured interviews with some of the continent’s hottest artists such as Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Cassper Nyovest, Mr Eazi, Patoranking, Rayvanny, Kiddominant, Mayorkun, Fireboy DML, Adekunle Gold, Master KG, Yaw Tog, Blxckie, Nikita Kering and Buju.
