Agent lambastes GFA over Jeffrey Schlupp’s exclusion from Black Stars squad
After Jeffrey Schlupp’s Crystal Palace star was left off the Black Stars team for the World Cup in Qatar, a football agent who is said to be working for Schlupp called the Ghana Football Association and Ghanaians out for their actions.
Following productive negotiations between the Ghana Football Association and Schlupp’s entourage, in which he agreed to play for the national team once more, Schlupp was added to the original 55-man list last week.

The midfielder was let go, nevertheless, after it was revealed that head coach Otto Addo “had not seen him play.”
The 29-year-old has been a crucial component of Patrick Vieira’s Premier League squad this year.
Schlupp was first called up by the technical team due to his strong achievements, but he will not be in Qatar, which has irked his agent, Sircalvin Riches, who goes by the Snapchat handle Schlupp.
He made some offensive comments on social media.

Schlupp last played for the Black Stars in a World Cup qualifying victory against Ethiopia in September 2021, clocking 28 minutes of action.
On November 24, Ghana will face Portugal to open their campaign. In Group H, they will also compete against South Korea and Uruguay.
