According to the prosecution, the defendants are residents of Bubuashie and Kaneshie, respectively.

The complainant was scheduled to deliver a package of kinky hair to her aunt at P2 Garden in Osu, Accra, on November 2, 2022.

Around 6:30 p.m., the two accused individuals and third who is still at large emerged from their hiding place and unexpectedly attacked the complainant as she arrived to the LMI Holding Head Office in North Ridge, Accra.

The complainant was allegedly attacked by one of the robbers who smashed a bottle, stabbed her behind the left ear, and then dragged the blade across her chest, injuring her on both sides of her body, before successfully taking her Xioami MI 10T pro mobile phone, which was worth GHC3,000.00, and running away.

According to the prosecution, the complainant was given a medical paperwork by the police to request treatment.

Later, once the suspects had been led to the crime scene, a police search of the area surrounding the Canadian Embassy resulted in the recovery of the Xiaomi Mi 10T pro mobile phone.
